Description

HM-Clear is a nutritional and antioxidant formula to help support natural body detoxification and cognitive function. HM-Clear combines  selenium with vitamin C and alpha lipoic acid for antioxidant support.  Toxin overload may result in impaired cognitive function. Vitamin C helps support healthy cognitive function and relieves weariness and fatigue. Vitamin C, zinc and folate also support immune system function.Each 3.5 g serve contains:
Alpha lipoic acid 400 mg
Garlic bulb concentrate (Allium sativum) (GarlicRich®) 400 mg
Equiv. fresh garlic bulb 4 g
Standardised to allicin 2.4 mg
Glutathione (Opitac®) 250 mg
Selenium (high selenium yeast) (SelenoExcell®) 140 micrograms
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 1000 mg
Levomefolate glucosamine (Quatrefolic®) 712 micrograms
Equiv. levomefolic acid 400 micrograms
Zinc (citrate dihydrate) 20 mg
Manganese (sulfate monohydrate) 800 microgramsAdults: Mix 3.5 g powder (approximately one metric 5 mL teaspoon) with 250 mL water per day or as directed by a health care practitioner.Warnings
  • Adults only.
  • Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. This medicine contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Not recommended for use by pregnant and lactating women. If symptoms persist, talk to your health care practitioner.
Precautions and contraindications
  • High dose vitamin C supplements in excess of 500 mg daily, should be used with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones due to concerns that vitamin C may theoretically increase oxalate excretion.
  • Vitamin C enhances iron absorption. Caution is advised with high dose vitamin C intake in individuals with iron metabolism disorders such as hereditary haemochromatosis, sideroblastic anaemia or thalassaemia.
Adverse effects
  • The ingredients in this product are generally well-tolerated.
  • Some ingredients such as garlic, alpha-lipoic acid, vitamin C and zinc have been associated with mild gastrointestinal adverse effects. These may include abdominal cramps, bloating, loose stools, flatulence, dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting.
  • Pregnancy and lactation Use of this product during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
