Clinical benefits:
- ThyroCalm contains Rehmannia glutinosa and Melissa officinalis for the relief of irritability and nervous unrest.
- Rehmannia may lower adrenergic receptor affinity and peripheral conversion of T4 to T3.
- Rehmannia glutinosa is traditionally used in Chinese medicine as a yin tonic to improve symptoms of heart fire, including insomnia and irritability.
- The carminative and sedative actions of Melissa officinalis assist those with nervousness and sleeping problems.
- The possible anxiolytic activity of Lemon Balm results from an elevation of GABA levels that occurs due to inhibition of GABA-transaminase.
