Zinc Citrate P5P Forte contains 50 mg of zinc, combined with pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P) and pyridoxine hydrochloride to help maintain immune and nervous system function. It may assist in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins and help prevent dietary zinc and/or vitamin B6 deficiency. Zinc is an antioxidant that helps to reduce free radicals formed in the body and helps supports cognitive function in healthy adults. Zinc Citrate P5P Forte contains pyridoxal-5-phosphate which is an active form of vitamin B6. Pyridoxine can aid in the synthesis of neurotransmitters and assist healthy red blood cell production.
