With valerian and passionflower, traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve disturbed sleep, restlessness and nervous energy, plus lemon balm and the supportive nutrients choline and inositol.

• Pregnancy: Valerian and passionflower are category B1 (human studies are limited, however animal studies show no increased occurrence of foetal damage); lemon balm is catergory B2 (both human and animal studies are limited, but the available evidence shows no increased risk of foetal damage). For use in this population under health professional supervision only.
• The ingredients in CalmFactors For Juniors are compatible with breasfeeding.
• Valerian has sedative effects, which may be exacerbated by alcohol and sedative drugs.
• Passionflower may exacerbate side effects of CNS depressants and potentiate sleep when used with barbituates.
• Lemon balm may reduce blood glucose levels; theoretically, it may have an additive effect with antidiabetic drugs.
