Description

Histamine Metabolism and Anti-inflammatory Support
Featuring an excellent combination of flavonoids, vitamins C and B6, and proteolytic enzymes, Histammune Clear provides an innovative clinical tool to support a healthy immune response, reduce allergic reactivity, and manage inflammation and conditions related to excessive histamine release and/or accumulation, such as seasonal allergies.

  • Vitamins C and B6 (in the bioavailable form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate ‐ P5P) may support healthy histamine metabolism.
  • Quercetin may downregulate the allergic response by reducing the release of histamine.
  • Provides vitamin C and the bioflavonoids quercetin, rutin and hesperidin for their antioxidant properties to reduce the risk of cell damage attributed to free radicals.
  • Bromelain helps to support anti-inflammatory pathways.
  • Vitamin C may provide support for a normal healthy immune system as well as healthy connective tissue.
  • Rutin and quercetin may protect healthy capillaries and blood vessels.
  • Vitamin C may assist healing of minor wounds and bruises.
  • Bromelain and protease may assist in the digestion of protein.
  • Vegan friendly formula.

Prescribing Information:
This product has not been shown to be contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.
Theoretically, bromelains and hesperidin may potentiate bleeding when used simultaneously with anticoagulant/antiplatelet medications.
Animal studies suggest that concurrent use of quercetin and cyclosporin decreases bioavailability of the medication. Avoid concurrent use.
Pretreatment of animals with quercetin resulted in increased bioavailability of diltiazem and paclitaxel.
Caution is advised with concomitant use.
In vivo evidence suggests that quercetin increases digoxin bioavailability. Avoid using this combination.
In vitro evidence suggests that quercetin may theoretically compete with quinolone antibiotics due to binding to the DNA gyrase site in bacteria; some evidence suggest that bromelains may increase the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics. Caution is advised with concurrent use.
Theoretically, concomitant use of hesperidin with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects and increase the risk of hypotension; use with caution.
Animal studies show hesperidin to have sedative effects, due to opioid receptor activity. Theoretically, concomitant use with CNS depressant drugs may cause additive effects.
Systemic proteases may have fibrinolytic activity. Use caution in those with bleeding disorders or prior to surgery.
