MultiGest® Enzymes provides a blend of plant-derived enzymes to assist in the breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, lactose and cellulose. The addition of herbs gentian and fennel, which have a long history of use in traditional European medicine to support digestion, improve appetite and provide symptomatic relief of digestive ailments such as bloating and flatulence.

Prescribing Information:
- There is insufficient reliable information available about the safety of gentian and fennel in medicinal amounts during pregnancy and lactation; avoid using.
- Contraindicated in people who are hypersensitivity to pineapple (source of bromelain).
- Digestive enzymes are not suitable for use in patients with gastric or duodenal ulceration. Discontinue use if any burning sensation or gastric irritation occurs after use of any digestive enzyme.
- Bromelains may potentiate bleeding when used simultaneously with anticoagulant/antiplatelet medications.
