Ultra Potent-C Chewables provide a high dose of vitamin C with supportive nutrients in a natural orange flavoured, sugar-free chewable tablet. Vitamin C and zinc provide support to the immune system. Regular intake of vitamin C may help reduce the duration and severity of symptoms associated with the common cold. Betacarotene, vitamin E and rutin provide additional antioxidant and nutritional support.

Prescribing Information:
- The active ingredients contained in this product have not been shown to be contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.
- The tolerable upper limit (UL) for vitamin C is 2g per day for pregnant or breastfeeding women aged 19 years and older, and 1.8g per day for pregnant or breastfeeding women aged 14-18 years.
- Do not exceed a daily intake of 200mg of vitamin C in patients with haemochromatosis.
- High doses of vitamins C or E may reduce the response to warfarin.
- Taking more than 40mg of zinc per day over a period of weeks may interfere with copper bioavailability.
- Substances that may affect zinc absorption or excretion include high dietary calcium intake, coffee, folate, supplemental iron, NSAIDs, antibiotics and diuretics.
